Beehive : Iron County (1 min 26 sec)
Ted grew up herding sheep in the mountains above Cedar City with his family. University and work took him away from Utah, but late in life circumstances have called him back.  While he was gone, real estate values increased dramatically, yet he has no plans to sell what gives him his unique sense of belonging.

Sven came to Jackson with the promise of a massive summer salary. When that salary was quickly swallowed up in Jackson’s exorbitant cost of living Sven found creative ways to live in Jackson for little to no cost—and he’s not the only one trying. Driven by his love for the Tetons, Sven returns every summer with a new strategy.

Marching Band (1 min 27 sec)
Davis High has one of the longest, most successful marching band traditions in Utah. As they near the end of their 2010 season they only slightly trail behind their closest rival, American Fork High. Both schools travel to St. George, UT to compete with the best bands from the western US with hopes of becoming the next regional champions.

’s 2 years as governor allowed her to travel the state and get to know the diverse land and people of Utah like few ever have. Now retired, she finds a new sense of community in the culture of southern Utah and shares her unique perspective on the spirit and character that makes a Utahn a Utahn.
