We all know the story of the Star that appeared the night of the Savior’s birth.  This star gave hope to millions around the world.  It was the promised sign from our Father in Heaven that His son, Jesus Christ had been born, showing his love for us and promising the atonement for all.  If we look close, there are signs of our Father’s love all around us.

On Monday, December 21st, 2020 one such sign will appear in the evening sky.  Just after dark, if you look to the southwest horizon you will see what astronomers are calling a “Great Conjunction” as the planets Jupiter and Saturn pass closer together than they have in nearly 800 years (793).  This is a once in a lifetime event for us to see.  Many are calling this event the Star.  Astronomers also calculate that this same event occurred around the time of the Savior’s birth.  Whether you look at this event as an interesting happening in the night sky, or a sign from our Father in Heaven telling us that he knows us, and that he is sending us a sign that he loves us, and that all will be well, is up to you.
